Multiple Bookings for Garage Door Repair
I am a supervisor and regularly deal with all sorts of queries relating to garage door repair
On this day I had some concerns about the way in which some of our staff had to answer eerily similar calls for repair by a young precocious caller on the other end. The property was identical to one we had serviced in the past. I decided to pay the client a visit. A busy mom of four greeted me and told me she appreciated our hard work years back and wondered why we were there. She was very busy attending to all her children. We asked her if anyone in the home has called for service since we have been receiving multiple calls from her home. She said no but that sometimes her 4 year old plays with the phone and she is not always aware of how much time he spends on the phone due to her various responsibilities with all her other children. We asked to speak to her young son and politely explained to him he should not call real numbers and he apologized sweetly. I learned from the mom that this is not the first time he has done this and called 911 a few times accidentally. It was a bizarre and funny situation but most importantly I was glad we were able to teach the young boy an essential lesson in responsibility. We never got more calls from their property after our visit.
